MANSFIELD / RICHLAND COUNTY AREA
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM DIRECTORY

Unfortunately, we are living in a time when crime and acts of desperation are on the increase. Everyone wants to feel safe at home, at work, and on the go. But with the recent downturn in the economy, we are faced with having lost some of our safety forces that used to provide the needed security and protection of our neighborhoods. That's why Neighborhood Watch programs are so vitally important now, more than ever. Its a simple grade school concept, safety in numbers. Its people helping control crime in their own part of the city by keeping a watchful eye on what goes on, and reporting any suspicious persons or activities to the proper authorities. There are currently around 50
Neighborhood Watch Groups in operation in Mansfield, and many others in the surrounding townships and communities. We are in the process of gathering information about these groups and are publishing a complete county-wide Neighborhood Watch Directory that will provide information for the entire Mansfield/Richland County area in once convenient location.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
The Neighborhood Watch Directory is new and still being organized. We want everyone to be able to use this guide and find information about a watch group in their neighborhood. If you have information that we can include here, your help would be much apprecieated. Please use the link above to add your watch group, or to request information about starting a watch group.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION FAIR
We will have a table set up at the Community Information Fair being held on Friday, August 21st at St. Luke's Church. There will be more information and Community Policing officers on hand to answer questions and provide assistance to those who are interested in joining or organizing watch groups. There will be lots of other valuable and useful information available at the fair as well as fun, games, and refreshments. Admission is free and school supplies will be collected for distribution to local kids who need them and can't afford them due to the economy.

Please Note That This Neighborhood Watch Directory May Not Be
